How it works

Fund holdings come from issuer files (Vanguard, iShares, State Street, Invesco) refreshed nightly, and from SEC N-PORT filings for mutual funds and 401(k) target-date funds — the part most overlap tools skip. Target-date funds are funds-of-funds; we expand them two levels deep so your 401(k) shows up as the stocks it really holds.

Every analysis checks one invariant before showing you anything: exposure weights must sum to 100%. Weight is never silently dropped — anything unresolvable is shown as an explicit “other” bucket. The formulas are public on the methodology page.
